Shendu is actually based off of a legendary dragon. in chinese mythology, there was once a fire-breathing dragon who posessed talismans in which he drew his power. don't remember much about it though. :hmm:

Ooh! A fledgling animator! I myself have gotten to the pupa stage in animation and it's definately a lot of fun (and bone-breaking slave labor). It's defiantely a good thing to keep all your old old stuff so you can look back and laugh it's almost magical to see one progress over time (am I really a hippie?)

Yeah, keep going with with what you're doing. Looks like you've got quite a bit of potential.
